Take the time to work on yourself. Be the best you can be.
Yesterday was an emotional day for me, I met up with a friend, we love our meet ups… We look forward to them!
We allow ourselves to BE ourselves when we are in each other presence.
Yesterday though, I wasn’t my positive little self and I felt like I was carrying the world on my shoulders. I sorta am.
We had a good chat and she gave me the hugs I needed as I unloaded my back pack of fears and challenges before her.
We said our goodbyes and as I drove away, I realised… I haven’t worked on myself lately.
I normally take time to read, write, reflect, express myself and reposition myself back to where I want to be headed.
I check in with myself.
Between working long hours and trying to balance things…I haven’t MADE the time.
When we loose touch with who we are, who we want to be, where we want to go in this life and who we want to be when we hit the last day… We feel lost. We feel afraid. We feel confused.
Take time to work on yourself. Self love is NOT selfish.
You won’t find the time to do it… You need to make the time.
