Yesterday’s lunch

 I gotta say, trying to put a meal together with consideration to all the things that need to be eliminated from my diet takes work.

Yesterday I made a salad with oak lettuce, baked sweet potato cubes, tuna in spring water, a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, broken up pieces of quinoa rice cakes. 

It was a feast, I was so full at the end of the meal. 

It was nut free, dairy free, gluten free, soy free, egg free, artificial sweetener free, caffeine free. But it wasn’t flavour free! 

Sweet potatoes are so good for the body. 

I challenge you to make a healthy salad packed with vitamins and nutrients. Eat with purpose.

Eating with purpose and feeding your body with foods that help you function better is such a treat.

It’s been 1 week now since I haven’t had a cup of coffee and my heart isn’t pounding anymore. I’m feeling less forgetful, less brain fog and less anxious. I feel balanced and grounded.
